LOCATION:

We are located at 340 Michigan St SE, Suite 100, Hutchinson, MN 55350. There is a parking lot directly in front of the building with handicap accessible parking near the entrance of the building. Although there is handicap accessible parking, the double doors do not have a handicap assist button available. If you need or would like assistance entering the space please let us know so we can be present to assist you upon your arrival.

What to expect when entering the building:

When you enter though the two sets of glass double doors, you will follow the hallway and turn towards the left as you enter into the waiting/reception room. The internal doors to your therapist’s office will be closed as your therapist is finishing the previous session; even if the door is open we ask that you make yourself comfortable in our waiting/reception room until your therapist greets you. The restroom/bathroom is located just off the waiting/reception room.

At the end of your first session, you will be able to exit the same way you entered. Please feel free to reach out if you have any mobility concerns.

What to expect for your first appointment:

A Warm Welcome
The first session is about building a connection. You’ll be welcomed into a safe, non-judgmental space where you’re free to be yourself and speak openly.

Getting to Know You
I’ll ask some questions to better understand you, your background, and what brings you to therapy. This may include exploring your current concerns, past experiences, and what you'd like to achieve through our work together.

Explaining the Process
We’ll go over what therapy is (and isn’t), discuss confidentiality, and talk about how sessions typically work. You’ll have a chance to ask any questions you might have.

Setting Goals
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come in. Together, we’ll begin identifying areas you'd like to focus on and what progress might look like for you.

Taking It at Your Pace
You’re in control of your story. You can share as much or as little as you're comfortable with. The first session is just the beginning, and we’ll move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

Technology

If computers and navigating a client portal is not for you, that is ok. We have paper documents you can fill out in person. If you would like to complete your paperwork this way, please let us know prior to your appointment so that we can schedule a time for you to come in and complete the paperwork prior to your first appointment.
